More assesments. My current body fat percentage is 39.4. My goal range is between 19 and 24. My waist is 41 inches. My Body Mass Index is 36.2, ideal is between 20 and 25. These aren't so good, but happy news is that my waist to hip ratio is .82, meaning that I am a pear, which is healthier (and more feminine looking) than an apple shape. Of course, now to just lower both my waist & hip measurements, right?

I didn't workout today, so instead I took the stairs. They really winded me, which is disappointing, but I'm going to challenge myself to see how long it takes me before I can bound up those steps without effort.
Yesterday was not a bad day, not at all. Today is going to be terrific! Using the calculators @ Self.Com I've found out that I need roughly 1900 kcal to maintain my current weight. Thus, by shaving 300 kcal off there and burning 200 kcal everyday by exercise, I should lose about a pound a week. Thus, my caloric goal is 1600 kcal on workout days, and 1400 on non-workout days. I suppose I'm not going to be that stringent about calories as long as I'm eating right, but those are good goals to aim for.
